When I started this project in 2012, I really didn't know what it would be. I simply felt compelled to capture as much of a world that I loved being a part of and that I saw disappearing rapidly. A year later, I reconnected with my film school buddy, Joanne Donahoe-Beckwith and together we continued recording one decommissioning event after another. For the next two years we ran; trying to keep up but it was somewhere during that time that the project evolved into a structured, feature length documentary.
Here are some of my musings along the way.
